Summary of Qualifications / Career Overview

Gary Chandler launched his career in a large paper company where he worked in production for 10 years demonstrating natural talents in operating and repairing equipment. He transitioned into maintenance with a pump remanufacturer where he rebuilt pumping equipment and fans according to OEM specifications, performing machining, millwright and welding duties. He performed some supervisory and scheduling duties for the millwright shop with a team of 10 employees. After 10 years, he was hired by a Fortune 500 manufacturing company and was requested by management to train other employees on the use of laser systems to achieve precise alignment. In 2003 he was selected as an instructor for the roll out of the “Precision Maintenance program training maintenance teams in four states. Gary admits that he initially thought that “Precision Maintenance” was just one more maintenance program but the results in energy savings, downtime reduction, and equipment reliability turned him into a staunch advocate. He joined Reliability Solutions in 2008 to lend his 30+ years of expertise to support corporate leadership and engineering teams implementing “Precision Maintenance” Programs.
