Summary of Qualifications / Career Overview

Dina Brown’s career was launched on the operations side of a paper mill. She found maintenance work more appealing having been schooled in repairs by four brothers her entire life. Dina was accepted into a five-year apprentice program in 1987 where she attended classes in a community college and rotated into every department in the company. She worked on all types of industrial equipment but machine system alignments and rebuilds quickly became her specialties, earning her the designation as laser & machinery alignment specialist for the entire mill. In 2000 she was chosen out of 65 mechanics to be a “Precision Maintenance Instructor”. She saw her employer document savings of $132,000 in energy costs alone within only a few months after the implementation of the program. In 2002 Dina began traveling to other mills teaching both mechanics and instructors on “Precision Maintenance” techniques and field application. After one year as a Training Coordinator at her plant she joined Reliability Solutions in 2004 to help employers in all industries reap the benefits of “Precision Maintenance” and her expertise developed over 25+ years working with industrial equipment.
